Summary:

Lead  Web Developer is responsible for building modern web applications using the latest back-end and front-end technologies. The role must write clean, reusable code with strong emphasis on stability and performance. The Senior Web Developer must be organized and self-focused, delivering on time and according to requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Contribute in all phases of the Scrum software development process 
    •  Grooming
    •  Sprint Planning 
    •  Daily Scrum Meeting 
    • Sprint Review 
    • Sprint Retrospective
  • Design, Code and Unit Test TrueMoney’s web application (WebOps) using latest PHP technologies 
  • Code and deploy applications in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment 
  • Process deployment tasks when release is required
  • Maintain all TrueMoney’s web applications and automated reports
  • Write clean, readable code and tests
  • Support stakeholders on ad hoc data extraction, urgent tasks based on business need 
  • Provide technical support to others in case needed.
  • Support equipping junior developers with latest technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development process
  • Experience in REST-based Web Service API
  • Hands on experience in Object Oriented PHP
  • Version control experience required (Git, BitBucket…) 
  • Hand-on experience in JavaScript, JavaScript Framework, HTML, AJAX, CSS, CSS    Framework, Laravel, Hibernate and related tools and frameworks
  • Proven experience in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Proven experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) 
  • Experience in Single Page Application (SPA) development is a plus 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skills 
  • Team player, highly motivated and self-manageable
  • Fast learner, creative thinker, problems solver 
  • Comfortable with working flexible working hours depending upon business need
  • Ability to work under pressure and extra hours to meet set targets 
  • Willing to learn new technologies
