Responsibilities

• Actively participate in all phases of the Scrum software development process, including:
  • Grooming
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Scrum Meetings
  • Sprint Review
  • Sprint Retrospectives
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual and automation)
• Provide support and training to the team to develop skillsets to adapt to the rapid change of technologies.
• Define and implement QA strategies and processes for both manual and automated testing
• Conduct and oversee the execution of manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, integration and performance testing.
• Evaluate and select the appropriate test automation tools and frameworks.
• Take full responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining automation test frameworks for Performance, API, and Mobile App.
• Monitor, track, and manage defects through the defect lifecycle.
• Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risk and quality metrics to stakeholders

Qualification

• B.S. in computer science, information systems or comparable field required
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automation testing
• Proven work experience as QA Lead or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development process
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (K6, Jmeter, Appium and Robot Framework)
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• English proficiency in both writing and speaking
• Understanding Linux system admin skills and some experience in networking protocols
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with working flexible working hours depending upon business need
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
